Why Sentence Steps
Many pupils who struggle with written and spoken sentence structure aren't short on ideas, they're short on the scaffolding to organise them. Sentence Steps gives that scaffolding a visual, colour-coded form, so pupils can see the shape of a sentence before they have to build one unaided.
Delivered in small groups on-site, it fits naturally into a school term, and gives staff a clear, trackable intervention to point to when discussing a pupil's progress with parents/carers or at EHCP review.
