Hi, I'm Emma

Qualified Teacher & SEN Consultant.

I've spent 6 years working directly with neurodivergent children and the staff who teach them: first as a classroom teacher, then delivering SEN training and consultancy in schools, including staff training sessions for groups of up to 150.

Our Approach

01

Understand first

We start by listening, to the child, the family, and the school, before deciding what support looks like.

02

Build steady roots

Consistent, structured sessions give children a stable base to work from, term after term.

03

Give space to flourish

With the right support in place, children are free to build confidence and grow at their own pace.

My Story

I trained as a teacher, and went on to work as an SEN consultant and trainer, delivering staff training sessions to groups of up to 150, on everything from understanding ADHD to Colourful Semantics, Language Link, and Brick Based Therapy. Along the way, I kept seeing the same pattern.

Parents given a diagnosis, and then very little practical guidance on what to actually do with it day to day.

Children who could thrive, if the teaching around them adapted, but who were falling behind not because of ability, but because the approach wasn't built for how they learn.

Schools who genuinely wanted to do better, but whose staff didn't have quick access to the right training or advice.

SEN Support Studio exists to close that gap: working directly with families through tuition and advisory support, and with schools through training and intervention. The same understanding of these children, applied wherever the gap shows up.

Based in Kent, I work with families directly through 1:1 tuition, sensory profiling and advisory support, and with schools through staff training and pupil intervention.
