My Story
I trained as a teacher, and went on to work as an SEN consultant, advising school staff in groups of up to 150, on everything from understanding ADHD to Colourful Semantics, Language Link, and Brick Based Therapy. Along the way, I kept seeing the same pattern.
Parents/carers given a diagnosis, and then very little practical guidance on what to actually do with it day to day.
Children who could thrive, if the teaching around them adapted, but who were falling behind not because of ability, but because the approach wasn't built for how they learn.
Schools working incredibly hard to help every pupil thrive, but stretched by tight budgets and a shortage of local specialist support, often left unable to access the help their pupils need and deserve.
SEN Support Studio exists to close that gap: working directly with families through tuition and advisory support, and with schools through sensory profiling and pupil intervention. The same understanding of these children, applied wherever the gap shows up.
That's why I've priced school sessions to be affordable, so budget is never the reason a pupil misses out on the strong roots they need to have the space to flourish.
Based in Kent, I'm proud to support my local community: home visits for families across Dover, Deal and Sandwich, and on-site delivery for schools across Folkestone, Canterbury, Dover, Deal, Sandwich and Thanet, with online sessions available further afield.
